Welcome to The Oaks Plantation
circa 1830
Take a step back in time when you drive up the Avenue of the Oaks to the grand Oaks Plantation. The long drive is lined with beautiful moss covered oak trees that welcome you with Southern hospitality. This plantation was built in the 1830’s and is perfect for weddings, special parties, or corporate retreats. The Oaks Plantation is a spectacular venue that magically blends history with modern facilities. Enter the plantation by way of its large front porch complete with rocking chairs. Take a walk through the sprawling house to the plantation grounds and experience true old Southern charm. The Oaks plantation has beautiful heart pine floors, grand chandeliers, and fireplaces in almost every room. It is large enough to accommodate 200 people inside and many more for outside events. The back porch area opens up to the landscaped grounds that can be setup with tents, chairs, arches, or any decoration to make your dream complete. The Oaks Plantation has large glass sun rooms with views straight out of the past. There are also dressing rooms for brides and grooms large enough to accommodate the entire wedding party. Our staff will work with your caterer or event coordinator to make your day spectacular.
The Oaks Plantation is off Interstate 85 at the Waugh Exit. The location is close enough to area hotels and restaurants yet nestled away in the quiet countryside just outside of Montgomery in prestigious Pike Road, Alabama.
Take a drive to The Oaks Plantation and see this spectacular venue that only time could create. Feel free to sit on the porch and admire all this plantation has to offer. Don’t forget your lemon aide, mint juleps, or sweet tea to make the experience complete.
